The Client / Hard 2 Explain is a classic rock & Roll coverband based in the tri-state area, established in 2003.

The Brief / “Vamp up our logo” while keeping the general font, colors and spray paint look.

The Approach / The band had maintained its original logo, created using Microsoft Paint, since its establishment. I aimed to preserve the fundamental elements of the font, colors, and rugged 'rock 'n' roll' essence while infusing a bold yet refined aesthetic to reflect the group's growth and expertise.

Giving an edgy illusion of swarming music staffs, the album cover is a photo of a handmade sculpture. 35 feet of wire wrapped around nails, constructed on a 3’x3’x2” piece of pressed wood to make the groups ‘P’ logo (eighth rest + bass clef) .

A full body + classic portrait focused on the exploration of cat-lady fashion, lighting, make-up and working with adorable live animals. An alternate-world book cover was then made from these photos.

A handcrafted tri-fold brochure exploiting the dangers of the hippopotamus; the most dangerous mammal on Earth, while exploring digital cartoon story and satirical comedy.
